Baldness emerges as one of the most significant aspect of contemporary life, It is strongly related to the lifestyle of a person. Habits like drinking, smoking and hereditary factors are believed to be responsible for the growing problem of baldness. But a majority of the cases of baldness can be said to be because of an unhealthy lifestyle.
Lifestyle choices of the use of caffeine or any kind of drugs is known to foster the prevalence of baldness. Because the contemporary society has the prevalence of the use of drugs and alcohol in a significant amount, the incidence of baldness is found to be more serious.
In a survey, hair loss in different parts of the head was documented. These findings were compared with the respondents' lifestyle. Factors like addiction to alcohol, nicotine, values of exercise in everyday life, and the use of hats were explored. Different levels of hair loss between each set of twins were compared.
The study took up twins as the subject of study. This did away with differences because of genetic variances of the respondents because identical twins are supposed to have similar genetic material.
Researchers came to the conclusion that the incident of hair-loss was certainly related with some lifestyle patterns. Those habitual of smoking did have the presence of dandruff dominant in their heads and they did suffer from more hair-loss.
Lifestyle is interfering so much in our healthy lives that men in their 20s are found to be getting bald. This has become more of a trend.
